Spider-Repellent Recipes
Make your own Natural Spider Deterrent
To make your own all natural spider deterrent, add 1 to 5 drops of any Essential Oils to 1 Quart of water. You can use Catnip Oil, Citronella Oil, Lavender Oil, Cinnamon Oil, Peppermint Oil, Citrus Oil, Tea Tree Oil, or other essential oils.
Add about 5 tablespoons of Peppermint, Lavender, or any other natural soap per quart water.
Spray inside your home; and spray around the exterior of your house, as well. Spray where spiders are seen or can get into. You may have to spray often; as the effects of this all natural spider spray can wear off.
Bonus tip
Peppermint, lavendar, tea tree, and citronella oils are also effective personal spider repellents. Mixing a few drops of peppermint oil into your regular body lotion will help prevent spider bites indoors or out on a daily basis without adding another step to your routine. For extra protection, use your home made natural spider repellent as a skin spray when you head out for a picnic at the park, a hike in the woods, or a campout in the back yard!
This recipe for essential oil-based spider repellent is a completely natural, safe, and effective method for keeping arachnids at bay.
Bonus these also work on Scorpion, Fleas, Ticks, Flies and Roaches
